Our Ministries

 

We Are Called to These MinistriesCare and Nurture – To study, practice, and teach the principles of our Christian faith: the support and education of our children; promotion of secure and stable home life; fellowship and advocacy for the elderly; and spiritual growth for all.


Giving and Sharing – We offer spiritual, financial, and material support to meet local and world-wide needs, both long-term development and for emergencies or crises.


Stewardship and Place – We provide attractive and affordable space in support of community groups, youth activities, along with public and private celebrations.

 

Our church supports the wider mission of the United Church of Christ, including One Great Hour of Sharing, Neighbors In Need, and Crop Walk.

We also support a variety of local community service and educational programs through material donations and use of our facilities, including: Boy Scouts; Girl Scouts;  Elk Grove Community Food Bank; Elk Grove Clothes Closet and the California Montessori Project.  On a monthly basis, we provide convalescent hospital worship visits and at least one social event.
