 Music
“Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing.” (Psalm 100:2)
Music plays an important part in the life of this church during Sunday worship and in special worship services and gatherings throughout the year. Our worship services present a blend of hymns, praise songs, and classical and contemporary music. On any given Sunday vocal and instrumental music might be provided by the adult choir, church musicians, the congregation as a whole, the children, individuals from the congregation, and/or guest musicians. A two-manual electronic organ, a full-size keyboard, and a two-octave set of hand chimes are available for service music. The adult choir invites anyone who has a desire to sing to the Lord to join. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM and Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM before worship. The choir sings on most Sundays throughout the year, with the exception of the summer months.
